Kelvingrove Park

Kelvingrove is one of Glasgow's biggest green spaces. Located in the middle of the West End, it includes the University of Glasgow, Kelvingrove Museum, a part of the Kelvin River and a multiple of activities and nice walks. In autumn particularly, the colour of the trees gives the park a unique atmosphere and an incredible beauty. And on any sunny day, walking around the park and enjoying the sun and the view from a bench is probably the nicest activity you can do in Glasgow!

The Lighthouse

For a panoramic view of Glasgow, it doesn't get any better than the highest floor of the Lighthouse! After visiting the 5 floors of this extraordinary museum, take the tiny elevator that will get you to the last floor of the building. Enjoy the incredible view of Glasgow and its roofs and bring back a picture as a souvenir. Try to go around sunset for the full experience!

The Necropolis

If you thought that going to cemeteries was a creepy thing to do, you are about to change your mind. The Necropolis is one of the greenest spot of Glasgow city centre and you will see a lot of families, joggers and onlookers going around the place, especially on week-ends. Hidden Lane

Less known than Ashton Lane and harder to find as its name suggests, Hidden Lane is a beautiful spot of the West End. Located on Argyle Street, Hidden Lane looks like a small village with beautiful and colourful houses. It is hard to believe that we are still in the middle of Glasgow!  Home to a lot of Glasgow artists, the lane hosts a lot of events and open-houses that will enable you to discover their beautiful work. It is also here that you will find one of the best tearooms of Glasgow (Hidden Lane Tearoom) but we will talk about this soon in another article!

Riverside Museum

Designed by the legendary architect Zaha Hadid, the Riverside Museum -the Glasgow Museum of Transport- was awarded Winner of the 2013 European Museum of the Year. Located in the West End, by the waterside, the museum is an extraordinary building. A beautiful and authentic ship is anchored in front of the museum, bringing an interesting contrast with the modernity of the building and providing great a great opportunity for pictures. On bright days, the sky and clouds reflect particularly well with the museum so don't forget your camera!

Kelvingrove Museum

Kelvingrove Museum is an extraordinary building both from the outside and the inside. Located on the outskirts of Kelvingrove Park, the gigantic building is an institution in Glasgow. On week-ends, it is full of families, tourists and art students enjoying the beauty of the place and the variety of art displayed. The huge galleries are absolutely wonderful and enable beautiful shots. Personal favourite: the hanging faces that change colour.

If you are a football fan, you probably know that Celtic Park is one of the most legendary football stadiums in the world. If you are not, prepare yourself to enjoy the full Scottish experience and to live a unique, vibrant and emotional moment.
