Authentic (and cheap!) pizzas like in Naples
Whether you are an Italian missing the wonderful tastes and colours of your traditional cuisine or just a pizza fanatic (I know I am!), you will find in Glasgow a few pizza paradises. Say goodbye to your hangover junk-food pizza: in those places, Napolitan pizza style is the king. The dough is light and fluffy and the middle is soft and messy.
With two addresses (one in the city centre and one in the West End), Paesano has become THE pizza institution in Glasgow. In a big industrial-styled room, you will get your pizza within a few minutes in a very convivial atmosphere (the tables are very big and you will be likely to share it with other groups of people for the full Italian canteen experience!). In terms of price, the basic pizza costs £5 and it gets as much as £8 for the pizzas with more ingredients.
Unfortunately, Paesano doesn't accept booking so prepare yourself to wait a few minutes during rush hour to have a table and enjoy your delicious steaming pizza.

But the best deal you can find is probably Mozza. Located right in the city centre, Mozza offers a daily deal (7/7) with the crazy price of £5 for each pizza on the menu! This crazy deal includes the original creations of the restaurants such as a truffle-mushrooms-spinach-ricotta pizza or a gorgonzola-rocket-parma ham-walnuts-fig&balsamic jam pizza that are to try for everyone who needs a change. But even the old time classics are bursting with flavours and will definitively fill you up!
